INTENSIVE PARENTING COACHING
Intensive Parenting Services – In order to assess a plan that will work for your family unit, the Parent Coach will conduct an initial session. During this critical part of our service, we will discuss strengths, challenges, pertinent history, family/parental goals, strategies utilized in the past and experiences associated with the attempts made. Once this has been discussed the process can begin towards working on and taking the necessary steps to obtain the families’ goals as defined. Parent/s will be provided age, situation, and child specific creative strategies to bond or work with their child. The Parent coach will also work alongside the parent to present, teach, review, and discuss effective discipline methods that work for today’s children and teens.
Parent/s will be encouraged to reflect on their own childhood and evaluate what to adopt and what to reject of learned behaviors and parenting philosophies. Parent/s will make weekly commitments to build on from week to week with the goal of feeling empowered, motivated, and held accountable for commitments made that can move them forward in their relationship with their chill/ren and role of parent (mother or father)
